What is the TDA?
The TDA is an online assessment tool that helps individuals and churches assesss spiritual strengths and weaknesses. The goal is to help churches in the process of making disciples.
Who should take the TDA?
Anyone who would like to understand better where they might begin to grow spiritually. The TDA was designed so that a small group, Sunday School class, or even an entire church could participate in the assessment.
What are the eight discipleship attributes?
- Bible Engagement
- Obeying God and Denying Self
- Serving God and Others
- Sharing Christ
- Exercising Faith
- Seeking God
- Building Relationships
- Unashamed (Transparency)
I’ve taken the TDA, now what?
In your report, you will see suggestions for next steps. These are simple “first steps” you can take.
My small group is taking it, how do I sign up as the group leader so I can see the group report?
As group leader, you want to be sure and register first before you give the code out to the rest of your group or church. When you are registering, you will select which roles in the church relate to you. Be sure to check the role “Primary Group Leader” because that is what will identify you as the group leader and give you access to the group reports.
We would like for our whole church to take the assessment, do you provide a group discount?
Yes! While the TDA is very competitively priced for individuals, it is also a great deal when purchasing multiple uses for a code. The bulk pricing is automatically calculated when you checkout after you select the number of uses for a code:
- Buy 1-9 for $9.95 each
- Buy 10-19 for $6.67 each
- Buy 20-49 for $4.98 each
- Buy 50-99 for $3.98 each
- Buy 100- up for $2.99 each
What other assessments has LifeWay Research developed?
Currently, three other online assessments are available in LifeWay Research’s Tool Kit:
- Transformational Church Assessment Tool
The Transformational Church Assessment Tool (TCAT) provides your church with the ability to assess the health of the congregation, celebrate areas of strength, and address areas of concern. Old measures of church health have some value but often prove inadequate by themselves. LifeWay, through the Transformational Church initiative, is seeking to help churches change the scorecard ? to better understand how to become a transformational church.
- Church Planter Candidate Assessment
The Church Planter Candidate Assessment (CPCA) is a statistically validated online assessment instrument which helps potential church planters and their respective organizations identify areas of established strength and other areas needing development as they prepare to plant a church.
- Compensation Study
The 2010 Compensation Study was a joint project of state Baptist conventions, GuideStone Financial Resources, and LifeWay Christian Resources. Compensation and congregational data was collected anonymously from ministers and office/custodial personnel of Southern Baptist churches and church-type missions. Reports are based on compensation for nearly 12,000 respondents from all 50 states.
Please email Kevin.Walker@LifeWay.com if you have any questions about how to use this tool with your group or church.
